Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, also known as Giidany Miirlarl, is a short coastal walk beside Coffs Harbour Marina. Its lookouts face the Solitary Islands and the reserve is a nesting place for wedge-tailed shearwaters.

The NSW National Parks reserve overview (opens in a new tab) explains the island's Gumbaynggirr significance and recommends a respectful visit that does not disturb nesting birds.

For arrival and conditions, check the NSW National Parks visitor information (opens in a new tab) before you leave, especially in poor weather or fire danger.

The City of Coffs Harbour reserve page (opens in a new tab) provides the Marina Drive visitor address and map location.
